With all of the craziness of trying to finish my collection for the Brink Magazine/Vitamin Water competition and trying to get a batch of six bridesmaid dresses shipped I've barely had time to edit pictures for some of my new items.  
I just finished editing a small batch of pics I took last week with model Rebecca Oros. 
We met up at Starbucks in downtown Naples and looked around the area for cute spots to take pictures.  These are the first three pics of the set, but there are at least 20 pics left to edit!  I had never been to downtown Naples - such a cute area!
Rebecca is wearing a mustard version of my Andrea top and a burlap look linen skirt.  These items will be available for sale in a few days.

Sleepless nights are always worth it!

I get insanely busy in the spring/summer making bridesmaid dresses - and although I always try to give myself plenty of time to make all of these dresses I always end up pulling all-nighters!  It's probably the least favorite part of my job - although the end results are always worth it.

This week I was incredibly excited to find these pics in my inbox!  They're for one of the weddings I did this summer.  This one was particularly hard because I agreed to make the dresses on a tight deadline - It wouldn't have been such a big deal but the post office in Canada went on strike this summer and really threw a monkey wrench into things!  Luckily I managed to ship everything via UPS and all of the dresses made it in time!

My Five Favorite Italian Movies...so far

I finally got around to watching Cinema Paradiso last night and wonder why I didn't watch it before.
I really like how cheesy Italian movies can be while being completely heart wrenching and funny at the same time.

After watching it I remembered a few other Italian movies I love as much - I pasted the movie synapsises from IMBD - click on the image to watch a trailer:

Crayola Crayons to mark fabric!

I usually use tailors chalk to do most of my markings but I don't like that the fabric likes to slip while I'm marking it.  I also use tailor tacks but they take forever.  A friend recommended I use Crayola crayons and I can't believe how well they work!  The best part is they're super cheap and you can get them everywhere!  They also come in an amazing variety of colors - and it's easy to mark white fabric with light yellow.  These crayons are designed for kids so they're incredibly easy to wash off.  I can usually get rid of my marks with a wet cloth.
