I don't know if I've mentioned it much but my mother is from Argentina. I remember having to spend an entire summer with my grandmother one year. During this summer she taught me how to sew, knit, crochet and macrame. I stuck with sewing - and I'll occasionally knit and crochet a few things but I really didn't do macrame again.
Recently I've taken an interest in Macrame and hope my skills are not completely forgotten. I just bought an old
Macrame book on Etsy to help me out. I'm hoping to start with a few small projects and work my way into making a skirt or dress.
