Mini Cloth Pins for delicate fabrics!

I am working on a bridesmaid dress order with Dupioni Silk.  I love working with silk but it's SO delicate!  I didn't pre-wash this silk because it's dry clean only and I really didn't want to change the drape - it's natural color so there wont be color running issues and I really wanted to keep the crispness of the fabric. 
I usually pin the fabric with super sharp pins on the seam allowance but I found some mini cloth pins (they're about 3/4" long) I used on a display last year and they are amazing!  I might start using them on all my delicates - especially jersey.  I ran a pin through my serger last year and ruined the timing.  It took two weeks to get my machine fixed.

For the lining I'm using 100% lightweight cotton lining fabric.  I'm about halfway done with this order and I can't wait to see the final result!
